- 16 oz green split peas rinsed and drained
- 1 yellow onion diced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 4 carrots chopped
- ¾ tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 4 cups chicken broth no salt added
- 2 cups water
- 1 leftover ham bone
Rinse and drain the green split peas.
Add all ingredients to the cooker and stir.
Cook on high for 4 hours, until peas are falling apart.
Remove all remaining meat from the ham bone and add it to the soup.
